- Material handling
Our procedures for incoming material insure that the materials weight is confirmed with the shipping paperwork. We handle your precious material with the utmost of care to insure you the greatest return possible.
- Processing
We use modern electric induction melting furnaces for your metal and highly efficient burning units for your burnables in order to reduce loss, improve melts and quicken turnaround time. A homogenous material sampling is employed using the most appropriate method to accurately determine the precious metal content of your material.
We recommend the following process to insure a quality experience:
- If you are a first time Glines & Rhodes user we recommend that you telephone the inside sales staff for assistance. (1-800-343-1196)
- At this point a quote is then provided and becomes our agreement with you. It will contain price, terms, and settlement return options.
- Shipping: When you are ready for shipping, contact us to determine the best mode of transportation and to alert us to be looking for your material. If you are located where our truck is available, we will pick up your containers on our insured vehicle with bonded drivers. Our current runs are to the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, New York and the Northeast.
- Settlement options include check, bullion, coin, fabricated stock, metal transfers, or wire transfers to your account.
